Hotel on Sep. 13 and 14

Hello, It seems very difficult to have hotel rooms on the weekend between EuroMPI and MPI Forum. We are trying to block the rooms of Westin Miyako Hotel, but it seems very difficult. However, another official hotel, Hotel Gimmond Kyoto (http://gimmond.co.jp/en/) has some rooms at this moment. You can make reservation via here (https://amarys-jtb.jp/eurompi/WebRegistry/Registry/RegTravel_v2.aspx?b=1) Or, try finding rooms with TripAdivisor, Booking.com, or some other hotel reservation web sites. I would be happy to answer your question or to help your reservation, especially in Kobe (since I am living in Kobe). Guillaume, I manage to book the b Hotel in Kobe from Sunday on (with a Superior Twin option which is not that much more expensive than the Medium option). Did you book the conference week through the web-system or did you do it completely via email/phone? Marc-Andrï¿½, I finally booked the Gimmond Hotel in Kyoto for the week-end. I asked JTB to do it for me. I just payed for the two nights on the web reservation system. I found room in the Kobe hotels, but that was a few weeks ago (although, it was indeed tight there already back then). As for the Kyoto hotels, I ended up booking through orbitz, which allowed booking over the weekend, of course. I’ll ask our hosts of there are any other options they can recommend.
