Before submitting a pull request, please remember to run make checklatex This should produce no output other than echoing the command that it is running. Currently, there are a number of problems with the document because this check was not made. I can correct some as editor; one will be harder to fix (the inappropriate use of color in an example). None of these should have been accepted; we need to make this part of the CI test. But until that time, please manually run make checklatex ; you can do this in a chapter directory, for example: % cd chap-one-side % make checklatex ../getlatex --allowpageref --noquotechk *.tex % Thanks - this will help reduce problems with the standard. Hi all, In all the excitement with the EuroMPI Conference last week, I forgot to send out a reminder to register for the upcoming MPI Forum meeting. The page has been posted for a while, but I don’t think I ever sent out an email. For everyone who will be attending, please register ASAP. The deadline is 11:30 AM US Central on Monday as that is the announced time for the first voting block. https://forms.gle/wePXwqJZfuhH7DyX7 The votes are also posted on the agenda page already and I’ll be updating the voting page in the next few minutes. Hi all, I (hopefully) collected all requests and compiled the agenda for next week's MPI Forum. Please take a look to ensure that it is complete. Also, if you have any additional plenary items from your respective working groups, please let me know as well. Note, that we are doing the long overdue WG revalidation (as listed in our rules) this meeting - to ensure we have current working groups on our table. This means, we will need 4 organizations to state that they are still interested in continuing a particular WG. If you foresee that this causes problems for a WG, but this WG is still active, please send Wesley and myself email and we will try to address the issue. Thanks! EuroMPI/USA 2020 Taking Place Next Week

Hi all, As Martin and I have mentioned many times in the various meetings recently, we won’t have a virtual meeting next week because we will be attending the EuroMPI/USA 2020 conference. I wanted to make sure that you were all aware that you are also welcome to attend and provide information to do so. The conference itself is free for attendees and the schedule can be found here: https://eurompi.github.io/program.html <https://eurompi.github.io/program.html> We have limited the times to 10:00am Eastern US to 2:00pm Eastern US to be a little more friendly to both the US West Coast and the European time zones. To join, you will need to register for each day independently on the same page linked above. Feel free to join any or all of the sessions. Hi Everyone, Apologies if you received this twice, my previous email seems to have not gone out to the list. We would like to announce the following reading for the next MPI Forum meeting: Synchronization on Partitioned Communication for Accelerator Optimization - Issue #302. This introduces explicit buffer readiness knowledge to allow for optimization on accelerator (e.g. GPU) type devices. This is an updated version of the ticket that was read at the last forum meeting.
