Hi all, I just wanted to quickly second Wes – thanks for this highly productive RCM meeting and for so many of you for pitching in (in presence and online). The fact that we now already have all the fixes from reviews in the system as full PRs is great and much further along than we were after the previous RCMs. Also, as Wes said, please raise any urgent issue (mainly focusing of real mistakes and errors) as soon as possible and we will try to resolve them in an equally efficient manner. As an additional note, as we now start to transition again from finishing up a standard release to looking forward to new features, discussion time and working group activities will become more dominantly, at least for the near- to mid-future. If any working group would like to use our traditional Wednesday slot to bring some ideas or discussions to the whole forum, please let Wes and me know, and we can certainly schedule this. Thanks! MPI 5.0 RC Branch

Hi all, I should have done this a couple of weeks ago, but it's ready to go now. For all changes between now and the completion of MPI 5.0, please put your PRs on top of the mpi-50-rc branch. We do this so we can marge all of the "in flight" changes before they're officially voted in. I've changed the default branch on the mpi-forum/mpi-standard <https://urldefense.us/v3/__https://github.com/mpi-forum/mpi-standard__;!!G_… > repository so any new PRs made from this point will use that branch but existing PRs will need to be moved manually. Once we're done with MPI 5.0, this temporary branch will be deleted and we'll move on to the mpi-5.x branch. Thanks, Wes
