Dropping Price for March 2026 MPI Forum Meeting

Hi all, Given our attendance numbers for the upcoming March 2026 meeting, it’s longer necessary for us to hire external catering, which means the price of the meeting will drop to $0 for both in-person and remote attendees. For those who have already paid, you should be getting a refund from Eventbrite today. You will need to re-register for the free, in-person ticket. Everyone who is attending the meeting still needs to register via Eventbrite. Please choose the correct option depending on how you’ll be attending so we can make sure to give you access through security. We also are still looking for discussion topics for this meeting. Hi all, Logistics for the March meeting are coming together and we’re now ready to open registration. Unfortunately NYC is a little more expensive for catering. * Address information for the Meta office is here: 380 W 33rd St, New York, NY 10001 https://urldefense.us/v3/__https://maps.app.goo.gl/b33UUvTbUpPQAjt98__;!!G_… You can enter directly from 33rd street, though there isn’t signage there to indicate that it’s a Meta office building. Once you are inside, there will be a registration desk with touch screen devices where you can sign in. Pre-registration is required and when you arrive, one of the hosts from Meta will come to the lobby to escort you to our meeting space (probably me, but there will be others as well). * When you register for the meeting on Eventbrite, you will receive an email with a link to an NDA that you will need to sign as well as a code that you will need when you arrive in order to pick up your visitor’s badge. Please make sure you have this code (there may even be a different code for each day). * EWR is the simplest airport because of the direct train line, but other NYC area airports (LGA and JFK) will also work with additional transit. MPI Forum / Winter Voting Meeting conpleted

Hi all, We had the December voting meeting for the MPI Forum today, and we (efficiently) got through the entire agenda. Zoom apparently now creates automatic transcripts, which we posted at: https://urldefense.us/v3/__https://www.mpi-forum.org/meetings/2025/12/notes… (unmodified, so if you see any issues or mistakes, let us know) We will, therefore, not meet in the next days anymore. Our next meeting is in March in New York in the Meta offices near Penn Station. More details on the webpage soon. However, it would be good if we could use that meeting more intensively to push some of the technical discussions forward. Historically, this has been done in the WGs and that would be good to do now as well. Hence, please consider holding longer WG meetings in March and let Wes and me know, so we can build the agenda.
