Last call for agenda items for the June meeting

Hi all, Just as a reminder, please send me any official items for the agenda of the June forum by 1pm PT today. In particular, please let me know if there are any errata items (or other items that require votes). So far, I have only received one such item, which seems rather trivial. If this stays this way, I am thinking about moving this single vote to Thursday afternoon (and skip the usual overnight wait time), since I had requests for this to accommodate travel schedules. However, if there are *ANY* objections against that, please let me know and we'll keep the usual and agreed upon Thursday reading / Friday vote schedule. Thanks! Agenda for June MPI Forum Meeting / Deadline for readings and votes (!)

Hi all, I posted a draft agenda for June MPI forum to the website, based on the input from the working groups. Note, this is not the final agenda, but hopefully close. Please take a look at it (especially if you are a working group lead) and let me know if anything needs to be changed. At this point we have a pretty full agenda, but there is still some room to move things around. Also, at the moment we will again be able to finish before lunch on the last day, but this may still change if more items come up on the agenda. Further, please note that according to our new voting rules, which will take affect for the first time in this meeting, all requests for errata votes, official readings, and votes must be made two weeks prior to the meeting, which means the deadline is TUESDAY MAY 21st, 1pm Pacific Time Also, the full text for these items must be published to the MPI forum list by this time. So far I only had two requests from the tools group that fall into this category - if there are other items, please let me know. Thanks! MPI Chapter Committees

Hi all, A while ago I asked everyone to send me email if they still wish to be on a chapter committee - I have updated the MPI 4.0 page based on all the answers that I have received. As you can see, we are a few people short for some chapters. Therefore, if you are interested in serving on one of the committees (or if I missed an email), please let me know. I will also bring this up at the forum meeting itself, together with a discussion on the role of the chapter committees and their relationship to the matching working groups. Logistics for the June meeting

The logistics page for the June meeting has just been update to reflect the hotel for the meeting. Rooms are available June 2-9 at the Residence Inn in Milpitas at $140/night. The registration page should be open early next week. Rich
