I want to remember that the EuroMPI early registration deadline is July 30. I booked and had no problem to book the room in the Academia hotel through the web page already starting at Sep. 19 and the form's default was starting at Sep. 17. It looks like that direct booking through links on http://www.par.univie.ac.at/conference/eurompi2012/registration also works fine for Forum members not being at EuroMPI. Information on the Sept. MPI Forum is posted at this stage. The registration page is not quite up yet. The hotel link will be available as soon as the registration page is up - we have been asked to keep it a private as possible. Also, I put up a first cut at dates and locations for 2013 forum meetings, as a follow up from last week's meeting. At this stage the dates are VERY notional, and even locations are far from firm - but we have a starting point. I have not checked for conflicts with other meetings. Rich

Yes, after I did a "make clean" they went away in both "make cleandoc" and "make". MPI 3.0 draft - plan

As we discussed last week, working groups have until 5 pm PDT today, Thursday, 7/26, to make corrections in the approved repository. At that time, Jeff will lock down the approved branch with write privileges for only Jeff, Bill, and myself. At that stage the approved branch will be tagged a pdf created and circulated to the list for final reviews. The plan is to post the pdf to the meetings web site early tomorrow morning, and only glaring errors will be corrected - as much proof reading as this version has already had, I would be surprised if glaring errors still exit ... Please post any issues you run into to this list. Comments are welcome, Rich

Same info is provided at www.mpi-forum.org via http://www.mpi-forum.org/comments/comments.html Submitting Comments about MPI Documents When submitting comments, please keep in mind that the MPI Forum only deals with issues relating to the MPI standard ... Comments about the MPI standard documents can be submitted to mpi-comments(a)mpi-forum.org. Several problems: 1. The reader has no chance to see the red comment on http://lists.mpi-forum.org/ "YOU MUST BE SUBSCRIBED IN ORDER TO POST!" This comment seems to be relevant because mpi-comments(a)mpi-forum.org seems to be an undocumented alias for mpi-comments(a)lists.mpi-forum.org . Looking on the mpi-comments subscribe page http://lists.mpi-forum.org/mailman/listinfo.cgi/mpi-comments one cannot detect that subscription is necessary prior to posting to this list.
