Hotel in Greece

I checked a bit on the hotels that are being offered, and the reviews were not too good. We can get a reservation at the Santorini Palace Hotel. The rate is 130 Euro's per night, but we need to commit to rooms. If you would want to take advantage of this, please let me know ASAP, and we can see if there are enough people who would want to take advantage of this - if so, we will reserve a block. Time is short on the hotel reservations. Rich

Housing for the Sept meeting

The EuroMPI organizers have arranged for hotel registration for the MPI Forum meeting through the conference registration site. Not all of this is updated on the registration site, but should be in the very near future. The issue is that the cutoff for these rooms is VERY short 7/20/2011. What I don't know is what will happen if one wants to come only to the Forum, and not EuroMPI - I will ask. The hotels are Daedalus Hotel and New Haroula. Rich

New Version of MPI_T proposal available for Reading in July

Ticket 278: Remove MPI-2.0 deprecated functions

Hello Folks, Ticket 278 (https://svn.mpi-forum.org/trac/mpi-forum-web/ticket/278) proposes to remove all the deprecated MPI-1 functions. People have had over a decade to move on to the new functions, and implementations can still provide these functions since MPI-3 does not preclude concurrent support for MPI-2.2. You can find attached to the ticket the full standard document that removes these functions as well as updates all the examples that previously referenced them.
