Hi all, some of you have it already detected: Through http://www.mpi-forum.org/docs/ you can access http://www.hlrs.de/mpi/mpi21/ where you can find the link on how to buy the yellow MPI-2.1 hardcover book. Shipping is already available to everywhere in the world. My apologies that the interface will need some time to learn English. Currently, it speaks only German, but it works ;-) and we could keep the price for the book at 17 Euro (plus 5.50 Euro shipping). Forum wifi login information

Everyone attending the Forum meeting in San Jose next week should have just received an e-mail from Cisco with wifi login information. If you did not receive the email, it probably means one of the following: - it's in your spam folder (darn those pesky spams! Won't those Cisco people leave me alone?!?) - you're not on my list, and therefore I didn't register you I can register you on the spot next Monday, but it'll cost you USD $1,000,000.37 (tax included). Nonblocking Collectives Proposal

Dear MPI Forum members, after the successfull first reading of the proposal for nonblocking collective operations during the last meeting, the collective operation working group took all suggestions and updated the proposal text. There were no significant functional or semantic changes. All applied changes clarified the text, defined corner cases, added examples, or improved the general wording of the proposal. All significant changes are expressed in tickets that are referenced from the main ticket #109 [1]. The latest proposal (rev. 3), which will serve as a discussion ground at the Forum, is attached to the ticket [2]. All significant changes applied after the first reading will be discussed in a short session on Monday evening, and the first vote will be held on Wednesday morning. A fully functional implementation is available with LibNBC [3]. IBM's CCMI/DCMF and Aachen's SCIcoll implementations also offer support for nonblocking collectives.
