Whether we like it or not there is a ABI between the debugger and the debug dll so having an independent and authoritative place to keep the header files would be a benefit. Hi all, As Jeff said in his email - we moved the tools WG meeting to Thursday at 1pm PT, 4pm ET, 10pm MZ. I hope this works for everyone. I have to admit, I don't have a huge agenda for this time, since we are in writing mode for most of the MPI tools documents. I would like, though, to go over the structure of the overall text and make sure that this works for everyone and start fleshing out a bit more of the details. The other possible topic would be to talk more about the MPIR-2 interface, if Chris and John feel up to it despite the upcoming SC events. If anyone would like to discuss any further technical issues, please let me know. Hi all, As discussed in our TelCon, this morning, I restructured the outline for our new proposed chapter. The text is checked into the MPI standard SVN under: https://svn.mpi-forum.org/svn/mpi-forum-docs/trunk/MPI-3/wg/tools/new-tools… You should all have access to it using the access code that was distributed at the previous MPI forum meetings. If you don't have that code, but would like access, please send email to Jeff. Jeff, Ashley, and John: I have created separate files for each of the text sections. This should keep conflicts to a minimum. Let me know if the structure doesn't work for you. I don't know if the webexes are still active - I can check when I get near a computer in about 2 hours. Does the wiki have the dates/times of all the wg meetings thru the end of the year? I would like to use the call to check on the status of the debugging document as well as to plan for the MPI forum meeting in Portland later this month.
