hi. i realize that the new RAT still only works in 8-KHz mode with mac audio interface. and i expected that from what certain people were saying about this issue prior to the 3.1 release. but what i was hoping to get out of the new Sumover RAT was a resolution to the ~ 0.5 second audio lag that i've always experienced on the intel macs. i don't believe, however, that i've ever heard anyone else lament about this. is it just me, or do other intel mac users experience this feature? if it's not just me, anyone know why this delay occurs? thanks, --fred

Hi Folks, I have an IG node here at Lincoln that I haven't used in a while - and I don't think I have tried connecting via a bridged connection since the switch to AG3. We would like to join a meeting tomorrow and currently I know that I can get to the venues on the NCSA bridge but I am not sure that all is well as I see folks in the venue but only get blue screens in vic. . . I have the room from now (2:30pm EDT) to 3pm EDT and then again from 4-5pm EDT. So - if anyone is out there. . .I seem to be the only one in the meadow as well, which seems exceptionally odd. . .but I haven't been around for a while, so may-be the meadow is a quite place now. Let me know if you can test wtih me - Thanks - Julie

AG3.1 on Win2k?

I've got a user that is running into issues trying to run AGTk3.1beta on Win2k. Specifically he is reporting problems with the Rat GUI showing up (amon other issues). I'm getting him to recheck/reinstall 3.1 but thought I'd poll the group to see if anyone has run AG3.1beta on Win2k before and seen issues. Thanks, Todd

The University of Notre Dame will be hosting Dr. John Bent, of the Los Alamos National Lab, giving a lecture in one of our classrooms entitled "500 Terabytes and Growing" this will be a live open invitation event. It will be held on July 26th at 11AM EDT in Axon room on the NCSA server. Hi Jeff, This message got bounced back to me - so I am sending it to ag-tech in hopes that it will get to you. Hi Jeff, Okay - you are logged in and at the schedule a meeting page? Scroll down about 2/3 of the way to the bottom - just under the "Participating Sites" and before the "Virtual Venue" you should see a check box that says " Open Invitation - Allow any site to join this meeting" Click this and it will be an open meeting - your venue will be assigned and you should be ready to go. Meanwhile, I have sent it out to the folks at my site. NCSA AG Scheduler problem

So why would the scheduler put the "Brief Title" and "Description" text into the Setup time and Closure time window? I can't book this open invitation lecture. Any ideas? I've logged in and out like 4 times and still does the same darn thing... this is getting REAL frustrating. I've scheduled dozens of meetings but this has never happened before.. any ideas?
