Hello One of our school districts will be enabling multicast on their entire network and has asked about what flavour of igmp they would need to support - 2 or 3. Can someone point me to some network requirements documentation please? Obadiah www.abelearn.ca

It did start working again, but was down for some time before it came back. Attempts to submit a request between 4pm and 9pm (Chicago time) yesterday likely failed. The AG software would have notified you that the request failed, so you should be aware of it if your request failed. If you had troubles with it yesterday, please submit your request again. Weekly open test meeting

This is a reminder that anybody needing help with AG2 or AG3 beta2 can join us at our weekly test meetings Thursdays at 10am Central time. Anybody wanting to test (audio, multicast, bridging, applications, etc.), ask questions, or get help with AG2 or AG3 beta2 is encouraged to join. Developers are also welcome to ask questions during this time. For AG2 users, we meet in the Argonne National Laboratory venue on the Institutional Venue Server. To get there, connect to the lobby with your Venue Client (https://ivs.mcs.anl.gov:9000/Venues/default) choose the Government Institutions Lobby exit door, and then the Argonne National Laboratory door. For AG3 beta2 users, we meet in the Argonne National Laboratory venue on the Virtual Venue Server 3. To get there, connect to the lobby with your Venue Client (https://vv3.mcs.anl.gov:8000/Venues/default) and choose the Argonne National Laboratory door. Even though AG2 and AG3 users are in separate venues, you will still be able to communicate with each other via audio and video. If anyone has difficulty getting there, send e-mail to ag-info(a)mcs.anl.gov, and we will help you join. During the test meetings, you can also find us in the argonne-national-laboratory(vv3.mcs.anl.gov) room on the Argonne jabber text chat. AG3 Downloads and Testing

There have now been over 700 downloads of the AG3 beta releases. I've seen people in the lobby of the AG3 beta venue server regularly and chatted with them, and we've been fielding questions from AG3 users in the weekly test sessions. I'm resending the link to the AG3 Testing Tips page, which gives a guided intro to the new functionality in the AG3 release, to encourage people to install and try AG3, filing bugs along the way. Hi, I can't seem to create anonymous certs on a fresh install and I get the following error (outputted to console) when trying to check the status of a cert reques (see below). Is the server just down? Question on scheduling an ANL venue

I need to schedule a meeting in the Big Horn room on ANL's venue server. On the accessgrid.org site, it says this can be scheduled using NCSA's AG Scheduler. Nowhere can I find where one can reserve a specific venue. I get no options in the drop-down box under Virtual Venue, whether or not I choose Auto Assign or External Venue. I tried on both Mac/Safari and Windows/IE. Am I missing something? How do I reserve Big Horn? Thanks, Darin

Hi Jimmy I tried the same configuration a couple of years ago with previous versions of AG and always had the same problem. I don't think they can co-exist. Co-mingling Capture Cards.

AGTK2.4, on Windows XP. I have a video system with three Osprey cards; (2) 230s and (1) 210. I installed an old Hauppage WinTV card and now vic fails trying to access the Ospreys while succeeding in connecting to the WinTV card. Does anyone have any ideas if this heterogeneous configuration will work?
