HI All, I have got a conflict today which prevents me from attending the sessions WG zoom meeting today. I propose canceling today’s meeting. For next week’s joint meeting with FT WG, I propose we * spend some time discussing more local alternatives to MPI_Session_finalize - https://github.com/mpiwg-sessions/sessions-issues/issues/23 * follow up on discussion of Dominik’s proposal (version 1 and 2). ’ve added Domink’s presentation from last week to the sessions wiki repo as well as the two C examples illustrating usage of the version 1 and version 2 APIs he described in the presentation last week. The examples help illustrate more concisely what is described in the presentation. Thanks Dominik for putting these together! HI All, I’ve got a very busy Monday coming up so wanted to get this out today. I’ve been finding it somewhat difficult to keep track of our various discussions and presentations, so I decided to do some issue generation/cleanup on https://github.com/mpiwg-sessions/sessions-issues/issues For Monday’s agenda I have * Discuss Sessions and MPI-T https://github.com/mpiwg-sessions/sessions-issues/issues/8 . Is there anything we missed for MPI 4.1? Topics if we meet today - joint sessions/FT meeting?

HI All, I don’t have particular topics for today except for one request which doesn’t require meeting. If you do have topics you’d like to discuss today please ping the mail list and we’ll meet. Otherwise we’ll cancel for today. The one request I have is to check the attached email (if you’ve not done so already) from Wesley concerning MPI 4.1 issues and associated pull requests. There have been some issues raised concerning the definition of process sets that we will need to discuss.
