We shouldn't sink a huge amount of time into getting IRIS working on Windows but I think we should at least look into it. Fortunately, Jason uses Windows (he currently has Windows 7) and has agreed to do some testing of IRIS on Windows--thanks, Jason! (Jason said IRIS seems to work in Firefox but not in IE9, and I think DOE people will be allowed to have IE8 but not Firefox.) If we can't get it working under IE, we can at least document that we tried. Miriam, it's probably less important to test on XP, since DOE will be switching to Windows 7 soon, but if Jason manages to get IRIS working on 7, it would be interesting to see if it then also works on XP. Figured out what this was.. a little dependency of a dependency problem. I searched manually for dependancies in the dependancies files. kb_seed was a dependancies so it was marked for inclusion. However, I didn't resolve its dependancies. It was dependent on kbapi_common. Dan, if it is possible, I would like to try to do another this week. I'll be onsite around 8:30ish. I'll stop by. If I had to choose between running the new modules through the deploy-qc-redeploy-reqc vs pushing modules from last week to production, I'd choose running new modules so as to be better prepared for the Feb 4 major release.
