Howard, I am still in vacations, so I only took a quick glance at issue 22, I think it is a good starting point to summarize our ideas. I will not attend the meeting today. Best Aurelien

HI All,
I’ve got a very busy Monday coming up so wanted to get this out today.
I’ve been finding it somewhat difficult to keep track of our various discussions and presentations, so I decided to do some issue generation/cleanup on
https://github.com/mpiwg-sessions/sessions-issues/issues
For Monday’s agenda I have
• Discuss Sessions and MPI-T https://github.com/mpiwg-sessions/sessions-issues/issues/8 . Is there anything we missed for MPI 4.1? If not, maybe we should close it. • MPI_Comm_from_group – does issue https://github.com/mpiwg-sessions/sessions-issues/issues/22 capture the essentials of our discussions? • Process set definition - https://github.com/mpiwg-sessions/sessions-issues/issues/24 • Should we leave issue https://github.com/mpiwg-sessions/sessions-issues/issues/11 open or close it (concept of a MPI_Session_abort)
A contractor is coming over to our house on Monday at a somewhat ill-defined time, so it’s possible I may need to drop off early or join late. Could someone capture discussion of these items on the respective issues in the event I’m absent?
Thanks very much,
Howard
