Hi all,
Because of the deadline for MPI 4.0 tickets today, Tony won’t be able to present the FA-MPI work that was planned for today. So I’m proposing that we cancel this week’s meeting and have that talk in two weeks instead.
Thanks,
Wes
Hi all,
Sorry for the late reminder, but we did schedule Tony to talk about FT models today in a few minutes.
The Fault Tolerance Working Group’s weekly con call is today at 12:00 PM Eastern. Today's agenda:
* FT Models - Tony
If there's something else that people would like to discuss, please just send an email to the WG so we can get it on the agenda.
Thanks,
Wes

Here's a draft of the Reinit spec - if people can read it and give us
feedback on Monday, that would be great:

Hi Wesley,
Tony and I discussed and it would work better for us to switch so that
we discuss the Reinit spec next Monday (11/16) and Tony's proposal in
the next meeting (11/30). Would that work?

Thanks Ignacio,
We didn’t end up meeting yesterday (sorry everyone for not sending the reminder) and as I look at the calendar, I’ll be out of town for our next meeting on 2020-11-23, the following meeting is during the MPI Forum meeting, then the next meeting is on 2020-12-21. We also still need to discuss Tony’s proposal that we haven’t gotten to. Maybe we should shift our on/off schedule so we meet this coming Monday and again two weeks after that?
If so, we can let Tony talk on Monday and schedule Ignacio for 2020-11-30?
Does that sound ok to people?
Thanks,
Wes

Hi Wesley,
We have draft of the global-restart (Reinit) specification and would
like to get feedback from the group. Perhaps we can discuss it in the
next group meeting? I'm available the next Mondays (11/16, 11/23). I
will send the PDF soon so everyone can read it.
