Are you asking if there is a trademark or other intellectual property restriction on using the acronym "MPI"? If so, you should probably consult a lawyer about that. Hi, Can you tell me who is the owner of the 'MPI' acronym? I want to use this acronym in the name of the project that I am going to release as open source project and I would like to ask the owner if I can use it... Regards, Lukasz
