Ok--so are the only remaining hurdles to getting the release out deploying jnomics and finishing the IRIS release? Are the dmg and ubuntu images ready? Is there a new type compiler tarball (not required for this release, but would be nice)? Also, https://kbase.us/developer-zone/downloads/ has a link for "vmdk Daily Development Snapshot" that links to https://kbase.us/vm-images/KBase_snapshot.vmdk.gz but that gives "page not found". Are there any other issues that stand in the way of completing this release? (I'm working with Neal and Tom Brown on getting the documentation and web pages updated.) The iris release is incomplete, jnomics failed to deploy yesterday when we pushed it to production. We're working on it right now. Once that is fixed, we can send an announcement regarding iris.

Hey, thank you to whoever pushed the new IRIS to the production server. Jim T. had been asking for weeks when his latest version would go live, and was surprised to discover this morning that it was live. Neither he nor I had heard anything about that. We are glad you did it, but next time it would be great to be notified--Jim so he can test it on the live server (and send the link to his mother or whatever) and me so I know where we're at on the release and what to put on the website. (I was planning to announce some of the IRIS improvements as part of the release announcement.) In the future, we're hoping for a more organized, transparent release process for UIs/Labs. Matt Henderson is thinking about this, so please be sure to include him in any relevant discussions.
I was also wondering how we're doing in terms of wrapping up this release. Is it almost done? Is there a new dmg and ubuntu image? Can we see a list of what still needs to be completed?
Thanks, Nomi
