New Fortran bindings are being proposed for MPI-3 (come join the effort; http://meetings.mpi-forum.org/mpi3.0_ftn_bindings.html; there's a teleconf today at 11am US Eastern to continue our discussions -- +1 866-736-2112). But that's not what I'm trying to address here. The problem is that The MPI-2 F90 bindings are broken / unimplementable. I am proposing a small, incremental fix for MPI-2.1. -- Jeff Squyres Cisco Systems
