Just FYI... MPICH2 1.1a1 released yesterday supports MPI 2.1.

PS: external32 and user-defined data representations are not yet supported.
They weren't supported for 2.0 either.

This is a "feature-preview" release. MPICH2 developers, testers and other
advanced users are encouraged to try this release out and let us know if you

the 1.0.x branch (currently 1.0.7).
The major additions in the 1.1a1 release are highlighted below.

the Unofficial HTML version of the MPI-2.1 draft in
http://www.mpi-forum.org/docs/docs.html is not found (404), and the
webpage says: "tohtml; Latex2html was unable to handle the document.".
I think we should either fix it or remove the link from the webpage.
