Hey Folker, et al.
Hi Dylan,
I won't be able to attend the microcomm call today (perhaps I should give in and call it "metacommunities" too). What are the topics we need to discuss? You have the quarterly report covered, right? Can you send me what you have and I can give it a once-over if there are any tweaks that need adding?
We cancelled the call since you were not available and went for coffee instead ;-) We need to push on both "prototypes". The QC workflow is making steady progress. What is happening on your end with the integration of protein trees and alignments? Can we show some real data already? How far is the code? Also for the UI we are making good progress. Jared, Andi, myself and likely Tobi are going to visit CSHl for the UI meeting. There is a lot of progress there.
We'll also need to decide what's going into the May release (and discuss the Science Team tech reviews) but Tom granted us a couple weeks to make final decisions on the devel call yesterday. Who from your team is attending the UI meeting at CSHL?
I think next week or so we can discuss what is the extend of things going into the may release. Biggest requirement for the day is the ID service. There is probably a need for some discussion on the details there. (after all a lot of data will not be part of the CDM and needs ID mapping). best, Folker
Thanks, - Dylan
