This problem likely comes from differences in pcre between RHEL and SUSE images that run in different nodes.

My recommendation to build one that is suitable to your local install by following the instructions here: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/view/svn/general/pcre.html This way system level libraries across nodes will not cause compatibility issues.
