This is a quick email to keep people updated on the deployment of the new engineering drop (who consist of compiler + MKL) on JLSE. We received a new spin of the ATS nodes, and this additional testing impacted our schedule. We will keep you updated when we update the default `oneapi` module in JLSE to use the new engineering drop.
The more inquisitive of you may have noted that we deployed a new oneapi module file named `oneapi/2021.08.15.001`. This module file is not loaded by default, and we don't recommend people to use it, as it contains an older version of the compiler than the current default module file (`oneapi/2021.04.30.004`). The `oneapi/2021.08.15.001` modefule file was needed for the framework team.
In summary, we are still validating the next engineering drop (will be named oneapi/2021.08.15.002`)) We will keep you posted when the new drop will be available and make default.
