Hello, A yearly allocation for the LCRC cluster has been requested with the following updated information: Submitter/PI: Vivek Mishra Project Name: DW_SC Division: MSD Project title: Competing orders in unconventional superconductors Associated funding: Center for Emergent Superconductivity, an Energy Frontier Research Center funded by the US DOE, Office of Science. Other Systems: none Science: This project uses many body methods to calculate the order parameters associated with different orders. Many physical properties are calculated for understanding the experimental data on the cuprates and the iron pnictide based superconductors. Project description: In this project many body methods will be used with modern numerical methods to investigate the mechanism of superconductivity in iron based superconductors.
