Current wakefield effects are calculated with the rigid bunch approximation which is valid when the wakefield is weak and the beam is rigid. In the case of the Argonne Wakefield Accelerator (AWA) this assumption is not valid since the wakefield is very strong and the beam energy is low. > The OPAL codes work very efficiently on parallel processors.
