Temporary society membership policy

Hi Everyone, We still don't have a CELS-wide policy about this, but here's a temporary CPS one. We'll have a final decision soon. Ok to pay for membership iff 1) Membership cost saves money, i.e., cost of the membership + discounted registration fee < non-discounted registration fee AND 2) the source of the funding allows it (project funds like ECP probably will not, neither will LDRD); please check this before you get audited and the cost is disallowed. For now, it's ok to have a maximum of two memberships paid for this way. Best Salman
