Hi Ron, If you need a newer version of nc, feel free to compile and install it within your home directory. Alternatively in the next few months I'll be upgrading the logins to RHEL7 which should include a newer version of netcat. [JLSE-Admins] lost ssh to osrspace frontend

Hi, I am currently trying to install openstack on the osrspace system, and it looks like I managed to misconfigure the jlse-facing interface and I'm now locked out of the system. The problem appeared after a reboot. I can ssh to it, but it displays a "federal computer system" warning, and refuse my password. Can you help me out ? Thanks, -- Swann Perarnau

Hi All, W. Boyd, K. Yoshii, A. Siegel, "Energy Eciency of High-Performance Computing Platforms for Neutron Transport Calculations", ANS 2015 I would like to thank Ben to let me playing with one of the Haswell nodes in tinkerlab! I wrote a couple of sensor reading codes (temp, freq, energy, etc). Haswell DRAM energy reading a bit tricky and I guess most of codes out there are doing wrong. I know 4.0 kernel includes the fixes. Once I return, I can clean up those codes and install them on JLSE machines for other users to read sensors values if people are interested in. - kaz
