If they can start with Dancelot/Prancelot they can have dedicated access for any length of time. We could actually try swapping out the B0 stepping Phi in one of those boxes with yours. Ben

Yea Haswell-EP is the only host hardware we have that will work for a Xeon Phi unless we wanted to pull the GPUs from Maud or Neddy. Hi Kaz, Our existing Xeon Phi machines are pretty lightly used as of late. If Judi and Swann need dedicated access to one for some amount of time, we can accommodate with our existing gear. I'd prefer we not dedicate one of the Haswell-EP machines to a specific task until the DDN IME eval is done using them. Swann Perarnau MCS Argo is a research project at Argonne to develop an exascale operating system and runtime stack. This project is used at a testbed to integrate and validate the various components of Argo. We will focus primarily on the resource management, group membership, and communication services across nodes, as well as deployment of our own system images. Thus, this project requires dedicated access to the network, power management and the booting process of the system.
