Great, so do I. So it sounds like we can do the release tomorrow?
Final steps:
- Tom will give Neal the signal to put the new dmg and ubuntu image on
kbase.us. Neal will also edit the Downloads page to reflect the new downloads.
- Nomi will post the release announcement to the blog (with the change Dan suggested).
That's pretty much it, right? The latest versions of the services have already been deployed to the public server?
Are there any changes that need to be made to the Services page? For example, any new tutorials or API docs for services that didn't previously have them? I know of two such changes (see
https://atlassian.kbase.us/browse/KBASE-148).
I agree with Bob
I'm fine with it going out. It clearly wasn't a priority for the communities_api to be in back when I brought it up, so I don't think it should hold up the release. There is nothing like missing the boat to make you get in line early for the next one.

I would love to see the release go out this week if only because it can then be "the June release" rather than becoming "the July release" (to be followed quickly by the August release). Assuming we get no response about fixing the communities_api so it can be included in the dmg, are we ready to go ahead and put the new dmg and ubuntu image up and announce the release? Or do we need a new dmg to test?
I think Miriam must be on vacation--I haven't seen any email from her in quite a while. And I know Tom is now away for at least a week. Should we wait until they're back?
