If it's a chapter committee text fix, from what I understand from Bill, we don't have to put this forward as errata, but simply fix it within the chapter committee. I also think it falls in chapter committee category.

Sorry, I had this wrong in my head - in this case, though, I think it would be worth putting this into an errata (I meant not a regular ticket) to get this publicly corrected as soon as possible. A ticket 0 change (which, I agree, we could argue for) will not appear in any public form until 3.1 or 4.0, but in the meantime people could get confused.

That's a good point. However, possibly I misunderstood procedure, as I have been putting ticket 0 changes in the errata (not committed, just in my version). The only one I haven't put in the errata is the one that was simply a font issue and not a correction. That one I only corrected in 3.1 (not committed). Is that not what should happen? Kathryn

However, that section is talking about categories so it should read: "The following function can be used to query the number of categories, N."

I say it's a chapter committee text fix. The intended meaning is obvious from context.
