My view is that the errata contains items that, if not corrected, could lead to an erroneous interpretation of the standard. Thus, it need not contain corrections for simple misspellings or misplaced commas, but should contain fixes to incorrect examples, function bindings, or misspelled MPI objects and constants. That keeps the size of the errata down to just the "important" changes.

Sorry, I had this wrong in my head - in this case, though, I think it would be worth putting this into an errata (I meant not a regular ticket) to get this publicly corrected as soon as possible. A ticket 0 change (which, I agree, we could argue for) will not appear in any public form until 3.1 or 4.0, but in the meantime people could get confused.
That's a good point. However, possibly I misunderstood procedure, as I have been putting ticket 0 changes in the errata (not committed, just in my version). The only one I haven't put in the errata is the one that was simply a font issue and not a correction. That one I only corrected in 3.1 (not committed). Is that not what should happen?
