I’m not sure if we have more to discuss on https://github.com/mpi-forum/mpi-issues/issues/732 ?

I’ve updated the issue with observations about Open MPI’s behavior here and Hui clarified which MPI implementation actually did hang when an app had failed to free a persistent request.

 

I’ve not had a chance to open an issue about the datatype handles we discussed when covering some of the changes accepted by the forum for https://github.com/mpi-forum/mpi-issues/issues/710 .

I hope to have that done before our 7/31/23 meeting.
