I propose a slightly different version:

IN rank rank in the group of window win (non-negative integer) or MPI_PROC_NULL

(basically, adding "or MPI_PROC_NULL" at the end. The other is in Chapter 17 (but on p 614, line 9 in the version I'm looking at). Comments?
