Brian, in principle, you are right. Everybody can chose the title text as he/she wants. I only take it as a useful hint. And each errata proposer can do this additional hint or not. I'm not sure whether you scanned all current tickets to detect, which one may be an errata, and I talked to the ticket authors. I didn't want that errata are something of the last minutes before MPI-next comes out. Please feel free to write your title as you want when you have to propose an erratum. Where did this proposal come from? It certainly wasn't from the main Forum body or from the architecture review board. I doubt it came from the steering committee as a whole. There's absolutely no reason to use prefixes in the title rather than versions (one now exists for MPI-3.0 errata). We should use the tools to their full effect, rather than doing error-prone things like prefixes. And we should all agree on policies and procedures, rather than one person coming up with something and stating it as fact.
