Hi List Owners, We are excited to announce that we are upgrading our mailing list infrastructure from Mailman 2 to Mailman 3. This move brings a more modern interface, better security, and a much-improved user experience for both you and your subscribers. What’s New? Modern Web Interface: A sleek, mobile-friendly dashboard for managing settings and archives. Single Login: No more individual passwords for every list; you can now manage all your lists under one account. Using your Argonne password and accessible via one URL: https://mailman.cels.anl.gov <https://mailman.cels.anl.gov/ > Improved Archiving: Archives are now searchable, threaded, and much easier to navigate. Drafting & Moderation: A more intuitive workflow for approving held messages. The Migration Timeline We have scheduled the migration for your lists on Thursday June 25th at 12:00PM. Downtime: Expect a brief window of approximately three hours where list configuration changes will be disabled. Mail Delivery: We do not anticipate any interruptions to actual email delivery during this window. What You Need to Do? In most cases, your settings, memberships, and archives will migrate automatically. However, we recommend the following: Verify Access: After Thursday June 25th, log in at https://mailman.cels.anl.gov/your list’s name to ensure you see your lists. Check Archives: Confirm that your historical data has synced correctly. Update Links: If you have "Join our list" links on your own websites, please update them to point to the new Mailman 3 URL. Note: Your list addresses (e.g., [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>) will not change.
