<Minutes from todays meeting> Attendees: Jeff and Jim Summary: We discussed 372 in some detail and 297 briefly. Outcomes: - Jeff will remove device and topology from 372, leaving it to focus exclusively on filepaths. - Ticket 372 will be migrated into the I/O WG due to its close connection to file I/O. - Topology and devices will be deferred for the future. - NUMA within shared memory was noted as something for the future, but seems impossible to standardize right now. Please follow ticket 372 if you wish to know more. Jeff On Mon, Dec 1, 2014 at 8:48 AM, Jim Dinan <[email protected]> wrote:

I'd like to start discussing https://svn.mpi-forum.org/trac/mpi-forum-web/ticket/372 in the near future.
It may also be worth discussing if this belongs in hybrid or if I should move it to I/O, given it takes about filesystems a lot. I don't want Rich Graham to force me to change WG two years from now...
