Re: [Mpi-forum] Ticket #265: MPI_Count PDF
Hi Jeff, A few more ticket 0 items for the Count ticket. I still don't like using "respectively", but I guess it works. How about something like the following (drop the function names and just talk about the argument), e.g.: Change: If the lower bound of the datatype cannot be expressed by the lb argument of MPI_TYPE_GET_EXTENT or MPI_TYPE_GET_EXTENT_X, then these functions set this value to MPI_UNDEFINED, respectively. to: If the lower bound of the datatype cannot be expressed by the lb argument, then lb is set to the value to MPI_UNDEFINED. If you want to go with adding "respectively", then I found a few more places to add it so that we're at least consistent. p100/11 p100/13 p102/20 p102/23 p106/31 p438/42 seems to be a space missing -Adam ________________________________________ From: [email protected] [[email protected]] On Behalf Of Jeff Squyres [[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, July 19, 2011 1:03 PM To: MPI Forum list Subject: [Mpi-forum] Ticket #265: MPI_Count PDF Has been uploaded to ticket 265: https://svn.mpi-forum.org/trac/mpi-forum-web/raw-attachment/ticket/265/ticke...
