Ticket #393 (errata): formal reading
MPI Forum -- The Fortran WG will be reading ticket #393 (errata) at the upcoming meeting in Chicago: https://svn.mpi-forum.org/trac/mpi-forum-web/ticket/393 It is a new, short Advice to Implementors clarifying the requirement of providing interceptable routines (since modern Fortran lets you inline). While this is already an implicit requirement of the profiling chapter, we added this non-normative AtoI because the question about Fortran inlining *keeps coming up again and again and again* (i.e., the Fortran "CONTAINS" keyword). So we propose adding this AtoI to be completely explicit about the issue. -- Jeff Squyres [email protected] For corporate legal information go to: http://www.cisco.com/web/about/doing_business/legal/cri/
