I was just reminded that this area of San Jose has extensive Light Rail. It goes pretty much right in front of Cisco Building 9; it's very walkable from the LR station to building 9. The designated hotel is a bit far from Cisco building 9; it's a bit far to walk (5+ miles). The SJC airport is also a bit far to walk (5+ miles). If you want to see if you can walk to Cisco building 9 from your hotel, check google maps to the like -- the maps in those areas are fairly accurate.
