Re: [Mpi-forum] Meeting schedule for 2013
This clearly needs to be fixed, as suggested, we could do this the previous week, or could move this to May or July - what are folks preferences ? Yeah, just remember that June is a hard time to schedule. IPDPS is at the end of May. SC PC meeting is June 24-25.
Yes, agreed - I think a week earlier may work, but we need consensus, of course. Martin

Hi all,
I don't want to debate the location discussion further - I agree let's leave that for the December meeting.
I would like to bring up, though, that the June dates (independent of location) overlap with one of the premier conferences in HPC, namely ICS. The note on the spreadsheet was not intended as an organization conflict, but as a general comment since this will likely affect more people. If we still have flexibility in the dates, which it seems we have, we should consider moving that. Otherwise, this can only reduce participation.

This is why I mentioned that we would probably close on this in San Jose, as participation in this was rather low. If folks do not want to discuss this further, we can stick to what we already voted on.

HDF snuck in late this morning and added another row before I made the spreadsheet read-only. :-) So there are now 13 responses, not 12.
