Re: [Mpi-forum] Housing for the Sept Meeting in Madrid
One further clarification - for those of you who are planning to attend EuroMPI and plan to stay at the conference hotel, you need to book your room through the conference registration process. Those of you who also want a room for the Forum meeting need to send me your checkin and "checkout" dates, with respect to the Forum. I will pass this information to the EuroMPI organizers, who will handle the reservations directly with the hotel. Are we meeting in the same hotel as EuroMPI (i.e., The Tryp Madrid Ambassador hotel)? On Jul 11, 2013, at 6:00 AM, Richard Graham <[email protected]> wrote:
I just found out today that the hotel the EuroMPI conference is using is a high-occupancy hotel, and that we have until Monday to reserve a block of rooms for those attending the MPI Forum. In the past we have reserved such blocks of rooms, and ended up paying as much as $3,000 for rooms that were not used - I do not want to repeat this.
If you are interested in getting a room in the hotel (Tryp Ambassador hotel) downtown Madrid, please let me know by Sunday, 7/14) at the latest.
