The hotel did give us one more week before we need to give them the hotel rooming list, so we can extend this until July the 9th.

For those that plan to take advantage of the hotel room block, please register ASAP.  We need to send the list of guests in this week, but I have asked to see if we can get an extension on this.

Thanks,
Rich

Just to clarify – someone new is helping with registration, and in an attempt to make the hotel registration process clearer, ended up confusing people.  Nothing has changed in the registration process.  I have asked that the wording on the registration page be changed, and that it say that hotel confirmation will be sent separately, as it has been all along.

Sorry for the confusion,
Rich

Nothing has changed in the actual procedure - I will ask to have the registration form fixed.

Rich and Jeff,

there is an inconsistency regarding the hotel reservation:

- The registration form
https://www.ornl.gov/ccsd_registrations/nccs_mpi_forums/
indicates:
"The Blackstone Renaissance, 636 South Michigan Ave., reservations are
done separately from this form.
Please select the nights you will be reserving at the hotel."

- The logistics page
http://meetings.mpi-forum.org/Jul_2009_logistics.php
tells:
"To reserve a hotel room at this hotel, please indicate on the meeting
registration form which nights you would like to stay at the hotel,
and ORNL's conference folks will make the reservation in one block."

Which one is correct?

Best regards
Rolf
