Hi Rich,

I’ve updated ticket 278 to do ‘part A’, removing all the “this function replaces the deprecated function…” and updating the examples.  It does not delete any deprecated functions, as I’m not sure there’s time to pull that off.

I need a 30 minute slot to go over these changes at the January meeting please.
