I made a careful review of the mpi-50-rc document and identified a number of minor editor-level issues. I’ve created issues for them, along with pull requests to address them. They are

981 Many minor formatting fixes

982 Several minor grammar fixes

983 Fix improper use of indexing macro

984 Fix misspelled “MPI_COMMM_SELF” in example

985 Fix {WAIT|TEST}{ANY|ALL|SOME} to be correct and consistent for the case of a single request

988 Minor fixes for the code check step

Note that in some cases, I’ve marked an issue as “Deferred”. That means that I did not provide a fix for the issue. These were not fixed because both the fix was not easy and the problem was not serious enough to hold up the standard. I will carry these issues forward to the next MPI version.

The fixes have been merged with the current rc to make it easier to review them. They used relatively fine-grained commits, so it should be easy to revert individual issues if needed. Please review and ask about any you have questions about.
