Rebooting the box now. It appears on warm reboot, it often hangs or takes an extremely long time for the kernel to boot. With a ipmitool power cycle, it boots normally.
After the machine is back up you're free to test.

Intel has a patched RHEL7.2 kernel and a number of other tools that appear to better support KNL. Attached the user guide. Let me know if I should install this on knl00.
