Study MPI, Charm++, Global Arrays and PGAS on Intel networking hardware and software. Project description: We would like to collaborate with Argonne, especially ALCF, on the OFI software ecosystem. OFI is an open community standard (http://ofiwg.github.io/libfabric/) driven by Intel, Cisco, Cray and others and is part of the software ecosystem for the Aurora platform. An implementation for PSM and therefore True Scale exists today, and therefore we can study OFI software on the LCRC Blues system. Industry partnership: Intel is the industry partner. Our primary Argonne contact will be Venkat in ALCF ([email protected]) and we hope to work with both the ALCF performance engineering team and the MPICH group.
