Fwd: RE: [lcrc-support #53805] RE: [LCRC Accounts] LCRC Project Created: Metastable_Materials
Weronika is asking for an advance on his project, Metastable_Materials, which is currently -133K in the hole. He requested 475K for the FY and was granted 237.5K (=1/2; not scaled by 80%, likely since it's priority 1, iirc). OK to advance 150K? That will make him positive again, but only leave him with 27K, which I'm guessing he'd use by March. Could I please release the other half of the allocation for me? Project Name: Metastable_Materials Allocation: 237500 Note from the LCRC Allocation Committee: This is your initial allocation for FY11 for fusion. We are granting 1/2 of your request at this time. The remainder of your request will be considered at the midyear Allocation Committee meeting in March. This project may have been approved for a smaller amount than requested prior to the quarterly allocation committee meeting; if this is the case, you will receive mail indicating an allocation increase if the committee approves an additional amount at the next meeting. The project can be administrated from the LCRC Project web page: https://accounts.lcrc.anl.gov/projects.php Use the web page to add members (and remove) members to the project, or to request an additional allocation if your project runs out of time. You can see additional information about your project, including the balance of hours, members and job transactions, by running the "lcrc-qbank" command from the command line on the LCRC cluster. You can also use the lcrc-qbank command to set your default project. For example, to change your default project from startup-joeuser to anl-mcs-support, you would type the following command on any of the login nodes: [joeuser]$ lcrc-qbank -s default anl-mcs-support Previous Default Project: startup-joeuser New Default Project: anl-mcs-support For more information on projects and using the allocation tools refer to the LCRC documentation: http://www.lcrc.anl.gov/jazz/Documentation/ApplicationDocumentation/qbank/ja...
