Hi Everyone, You have no doubt seen the all-Lab emails from upper management. Starting from tomorrow, the default expectation is that all members of CPS will be telecommuting. If there is any reason you have to come in for a short period, please get clearance from your supervisor and I will provide the final approval. No visitors or non-regular staff members will be allowed on-site. As stated in previous emails, all supervisors will set up a method of their choice with their direct reports for daily check-ins (these can be very short messages on Slack or email or some other communication method). Since a lot of our work will require remote collaboration, any suggestions on what we can do to improve the situation will be very useful -- your ideas are needed! In the time ahead, we should do our best to look after each other, even though direct social interactions will be necessarily limited. All suggestions in this regard would also be very welcome. I'll be sending more messages as needed on email, Basecamp, and the CPS Slack channels.
