The Cerebras CS-1 system will deploy on-site in late summer 2019. The goal of this workshop is to support researchers to be ready to use the system when it arrives. Part of the presentation will focus on requirements for running on CS-!, so that groups can determine their state of readiness. One of these new systems is the Cerebras CS-1 which will deploy on-site in late summer 2019. To ensure that Argonne project teams are ready to use this advanced architecture the moment it's deployed, CELS is initiating a series of events to support researchers across the Lab. ALD Rick Stevens will provide a 2-hour kick-off talk on May 22, 2019 to outline the opportunities, anticipated activities, and schedule. Using knowledge gained from this event, Laboratory researchers who believe their projects meet the deep learning criteria and want to use the CS-1 machine are strongly encouraged to complete this SurveyMonkey Registration and participate at the Argonne Workshop for CS-1: Open Forum for Application Selection event hosted on June 7, 2019. Groups that meet the criteria will then be invited to a hackathon to get them fully ready for immediate work on the CS-1.
