1-2pm today!: Science Case for Manufacturing Meetings
Ok, so here's the third try on this. Note the first meeting is at 1pm today. Salman ********************* Dear Colleagues: Please distribute this information to those who might have an interest in attending. ___________________________________ I’ve been asked by Paul Kearns and Suresh Sunderrajan to develop the basic science strategy for the manufacturing science and engineering initiative. This 2-page document will lay out high-level Argonne’s priorities for fundamental science for manufacturing. This strategy will be tightly coupled with the recent Basic Research Needs for Transformative Manufacturing; the brochure outlining the priority research directions that arose from that meeting is attached. The first meeting will be held on October 8 at 1-2 pm. https://bluejeans.com/269265087 At this meeting I will discuss the MSEI and the outcomes of the BRN and then invite your general ideas of what specific areas of manufacturing science you think we should focus. At the second meeting, staff are invited to present one slide on their thoughts on fundamental science needs for manufacturing where Argonne could have a significant impact. This meeting will be October 22 from 3-4:30 pm. https://bluejeans.com/794619392 If you have questions feel free to contact me.
