Dear Colleagues,

The Prairie Section of the American Physical Society will be holding a virtual 2020 Fall Meeting hosted by the Illinois Institute of Technology on November 13-15, 2020. The Prairie Section Fall Meeting will cover current issues in all fields of physics in our region, ranging from quantum information and material science, particle and nuclear physics, biophysics and soft condensed matter, to astrophysics, education, and diversity. The broad plenary, parallel, and poster sessions provide an excellent forum for discussions.

• The call for talk and poster abstracts is now open through Friday, October 30, 2020. Submit an abstract here.
   
• The Prairie Section will present awards for the best student posters and talks.
   
• This is a great chance for students to participate in a conference, and we especially welcome contributions from them. First time student applicants can join APS for FREE!
